Renewables aren’t going to cut it’: Australia needs a long-term energy solution
Renewables will not be a reliable source of energy for a very long time, says The Herald Sun’s Senior Writer Patrick Carlyon.
“We’re going to be reliant on – whether it’s coal or gas or nuclear – for a very long time,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“If we don’t go nuclear, renewables aren’t going to cut it.”
