Former Howard Government Minister Peter McGauran says Peter Dutton’s nuclear policy won’t win him the election but has “enhanced his respect”. “It’s a sensible and reasonable thing for us to consider in our future energy needs,” Mr McGauran told Sky News Australia. “Overall, it’s advanced him personally and politically.”
