Labor MP Joel Fitzgibbon says Australia was “pretty slow off the mark” on a number of issues relating to COVID-19, but “we are really catching up now”. It comes amid news rapid antigen COVID-19 tests will be available for purchase in Australia from November. “A new and additional tool in our battle against this terrible virus,” Mr Fitzgibbon said.
