South Australia Labor Senator Marielle Smith says emotions were “running high” in a “positive way” at many voting booths as the state’s residents cast their votes in today’s state election.
“There’s a lot of personal interaction, a lot of people sharing their personal stories about why a Labor government matters to them,” she told Sky News Australia.
