Albanese slammed over high petrol prices after calling for excise cut in opposition
Sky News host Paul Murray slams Prime Minister Anthony Albanese over wanting a petrol excise in opposition but setting “record highs” in leadership.
“Petrol, record highs all around the country, no matter where you were,” Mr Murray said.
“I was twisting the dial and having a listen to a whole bunch of talkback stations today, people blowing up, deluxe.
“Way over two, almost $2.30 as the average in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
“He wanted a cut in petrol excise, but now that he is the prime minister and he increased petrol taxes, what is he saying about petrol prices that are now way past two dollars?”
